Original 1997 Marilyn Manson Sweet Dreams Shirt. Marilyn Manson released a cover version of Eurythmics "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" 1983 song in 1995 and the track became the band's first mainstream hit.
This t-shirt features an image from the "Sweet Dreams" music video directed by photographer Dean Kerr. The video drew immediate attention and served to propel both Manson and Karr into the forefront of visual rock. It was nominated for Best Rock Video at the 1996 MTV Video Music Awards and in 2010, Billboard rated it the "scariest music video ever made", beating Michael Jackson's "Thriller".
The video led to Karr being in high demand to work with other artists and has since worked with Evanescence, Lisa Marie Presley, The Dave Matthews Band, X-Japan, Stevie Nicks, Willie Nelson, Velvet Revolver, Damian Marley, Ozzy Osbourne, Cypress Hill, Tommy Lee, Everlast, Dr. Dre, Queens of the Stone Age, Godsmack, and Iron Maiden.
